Multi-platinum rock band Staind is returning to Connecticut for a special performance this fall. The Springfield, Massachusetts-based group will take the stage at M ohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm.

Tickets for the show, titled “An Evening With Staind,” go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 12th, at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. For fans looking to purchase tickets in person, the Mohegan Sun Box Office will begin selling them the following day, Saturday, June 13th.

Formed in 1995, the band built its signature sound by blending aggressive nu-metal with introspective, hard-hitting alternative rock ballads. The original lineup, consisting of vocalist Aaron Lewis, guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Johnny April, and drummer Jon Wysocki, spent their early years gigging around the Northeast. They covered acts like Korn, TOOL, and Alice In Chains before releasing their 1996 concept album, Tormented.

The band caught the attention of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, who helped Staind secure a major-label record deal. While their 1999 album Dysfunction brought them a rock hit with “Mudshovel,” it was the 2001 release Break the Cycle that propelled the band into mainstream success. That album featured the melodic post-grunge ballads “It’s Been Awhile” and “Outside,” which explored Lewis’ personal struggles with depression and addiction.

Staind continued to dominate alternative rock radio throughout the 2000s with acoustic-lined hits like 2003’s “So Far Away” and 2005’s “Right Here.” Following a self-titled album in 2011, the departure of Wysocki, and a hiatus that saw Lewis pursue a solo career as a country singer, the band has reunited sporadically and is now focused on reclaiming its place in the modern alt-rock landscape.
