Darien Sidewalk Sales return this July with three days of local shopping

The annual Darien Sidewalk Sales will return next month, bringing local retailers and pop-up vendors to the streets for a three-day community event. Hosted by the Darien Chamber of Commerce, the sales are scheduled for July 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2026.

Shoppers can find participating vendors at multiple locations across town. The event features shopping areas at The Corbin District, Grove Street Plaza, and Darien Commons. Temporary pop-up vendors will also set up along the Post Road and Day Street, selling items ranging from clothing and accessories to home decor and gifts.

The weekend includes special events and dedicated areas for local families and shoppers. On Saturday, Bankwell will host the Youth Entrepreneurial Tent to highlight businesses run by local young entrepreneurs. Visitors can also stop by the Darien Chamber table during the event to pick up tickets for free ice cream from Gofer’s Ice Cream and learn about town initiatives like e-gift cards.

A kickoff showcase and breakfast will officially start the event on Thursday, July 9th. The breakfast runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Ring’s End, located at 181 West Avenue. Attendees can access product displays, giveaways, and a complimentary breakfast provided by Garden Catering. Home improvement specialists will be present to answer questions about custom millwork, kitchens, paint, window installation, and interior design.

This year’s event sponsors include Darien Commons, The Residence at Selleck’s Woods, Bankwell, DR Bank, Ring’s End, The Corbin District, Lil Dente Pediatric Dentistry, Hollow Tree Self Storage, Three Keys Team at Houlihan Lawrence, and Spring Pilates.
