My Hero Academia in Concert comes to Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford

A new live music experience based on the global anime franchise is coming to the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, on October 15, 2026. Production companies TOHO Co., Ltd., GEA Live, and RoadCo Entertainment shared a first look at My Hero Academia in Concert following its sold-out world premiere in Japan on May 30.

The newly released photos and video from the premiere performance in Yokohama showcase the scale of the live ensemble and visual production. The upcoming United States tour is set to launch in September, following a 10-city European debut earlier in the fall season.

The concert production features a live musical ensemble performing composer Yuki Hayashi’s original score in synchronization with series footage projected on a large screen. The performance includes signature musical themes from the show such as “You Say Run” and “You Can Be a Hero” alongside cinematic visuals spanning across the animated timeline.

The international tour is part of a larger milestone celebration marking 10 years since the anime series first debuted in April 2016. In addition to the live performance, fans attending the Wallingford venue will have access to exclusive concert merchandise created specifically for the tour locations.

The animated series is based on Kōhei Horikoshi’s manga, which has sold more than 100 million volumes globally. The media franchise has expanded to include eight seasons, four films, and more than 170 episodes over the last decade.
