Foxwoods marks 40 years of bing with 1M Firecracker Bingo and official attempt at Guinness World Records title

Milestone event honors the game that launched Foxwoods and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s vision that made it possible

Foxwoods Resort Casino will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its bingo operations with the Firecracker Bingo event on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The milestone celebration honors the game that originally launched the resort and the initial vision of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

The anniversary event will feature more than $1 million in total cash and prizes distributed throughout the day. The scheduled payouts include a single cash jackpot of $440,000 alongside an additional $40,000 allocated for door prizes.

During the event, Foxwoods will make an official attempt at the Guinness World Records title for the largest payout for a single game of bingo in a single bingo house. An official Guinness World Records adjudicator will be present at the venue to conduct the verification process.

The high-stakes event will take place inside the High-Stakes Bingo Hall at the resort property, located at 350 Trolley Line Boulevard in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Doors are scheduled to open early at 6:00 a.m., with warm-up games beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the main games starting at 1:00 p.m.

Admission tickets for the tournament are currently available for public purchase. Interested participants can buy tickets online through Ticketmaster or in person directly at the Foxwoods Bingo Hall, with event organizers encouraging early purchases due to expected demand.
