Mohegan Sun players win nearly 1 million dollars in table game jackpots over one week

Two casino guests at Mohegan Sun won individual table game jackpots exceeding $450,000 during a one-week span in May. Both payouts were triggered by optional side wagers on card tables located inside the Uncasville resort.

The two payouts represented the largest table game jackpot wins at the property for the month of May, totaling $940,844 combined. The property features more than 300 table games with various progressive wager options.

The first jackpot occurred on Sunday, May 10, at a blackjack table inside the Casino of the Sky. A visitor won $458,952 after placing a $5 Super 4 Progressive side bet and landing a four-card royal flush.

One week later, on Sunday, May 17, a second guest won $481,892 inside the Casino of the Earth. The payout occurred on a Four Card Poker game after the player placed a $5 side wager and hit a royal flush in hearts to claim the Mega Jackpot.

“These big wins in May at the Blackjack table as well as Four Card Poker spotlight the excitement guests can experience every day at Mohegan Sun,” said Jeff Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun. He noted that the property hosts a wide array of progressive offerings across both slots and table games.

The Super 4 Progressive blackjack option allows players to combine their cards with the dealer’s cards to form a four-card poker hand. A $5 bet is required to qualify for the progressive tier, which pays out its top prizes for combinations like a four-card royal flush or straight flush.

The resort also links progressive meters across other card games, including Fortune Pai Gow Progressive, Caribbean Stud, Texas Hold’em Bonus, Let It Ride, and Mississippi Stud. Four Card Poker utilizes a standard 52-card deck where players can wager against the dealer, bet strictly on the value of their own hand against a fixed pay table, or play both options simultaneously.

The casino reported several active progressive jackpot totals currently available at its tables. The Triple Diamond Jackpot for Spanish 21, Criss Cross Poker, and Pai Gow Tiles sits at $858,969, while High Card Flush is at $792,295. The Mega Jackpot for Pai Gow Poker currently stands at $546,231, and Double Draw Poker is at $302,132.
