Cast announced for Mystic Pizza musical performances at Palace Theatre

Mystic Pizza to perform at the Palace Theatre in waterbury Connecticut in october 2026

Big League Productions has announced the principal cast for the national tour of Mystic Pizza: A New Musical. The tour begins on September 26, 2026, at the Clemens Center in Elmira, New York, before traveling across the country.

The production will stop at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, Connecticut, from October 2 through October 4. Additional tour stops planned across the United States include Dallas, Detroit, and St. Paul.

Based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film with story and characters by Amy Holden Jones, the musical features a book by Sandy Rustin and arrangements by Carmel Dean. The score incorporates 1980s and 1990s pop hits, including “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Hold On,” and “Manic Monday.”

The main roles of Kat, Daisy, and Jojo will be played by Kendall Skye Beccera, Chloë Lezotte, and Lexxi B Frilles. The three lead actresses are making their national tour debuts in the production.

Jennifer Werner serves as the director and choreographer for the tour, heading a creative team that includes scenic designer Joshua Warner, lighting designer Dalton Hamilton, costume designer Jen Caprio, and sound designer Matt Kraus.
