Foxwoods heats up August with star-studded lineup of comedy, music and signature summer events
Foxwoods Resort Casino keeps the summer excitement going this August with a packed lineup of comedy, live music, signature events, and poolside celebrations. From comedy stars Martin Lawrence, Nikki Glaser, and Fortune Feimster to performances from Josh Groban, Cole Swindell, and Dogstar, August brings entertainment for every kind of fan.
SummerFest continues at The Fox Tower Pool with WAVE Foxwoods Day Parties every Sunday throughout August. The month’s lineup features a Summer-ween celebration on August 9, a 90s vs 00s theme with DJ Vice on August 16, a special For You Fest edition on August 18-23, and Candyland on August 30.
Comedy takes center stage August 7 as Fortune Feimster brings her Takin’ Care of Biscuits Tour to the Great Cedar Showroom, while comedy icon Martin Lawrence takes over the Premier Theater. The following night, country music star Cole Swindell brings his chart-topping hits to Foxwoods on August 8.
Emmy, Golden Globe, and Grammy-nominated comedian Nikki Glaser takes the Premier Theater stage for two nights on August 14 and 15, bringing the sharp, fearless comedy that has made her one of the most talked-about voices in stand-up. On August 15, rock band Dogstar, featuring Bret Domrose, Robert Mailhouse, and Keanu Reeves, performs at the Great Cedar Showroom.
For You Fest returns August 20 and 21, bringing online creators and their communities together at Foxwoods for a destination experience built around entertainment and real-life connection. The GenX Takeover Comedy Tour headlines both nights at the Great Cedar Showroom, featuring The Real Slim Sherri, Jon Wellington, Nick Harrison, Kelly Manno, and host Justin Rupple. Also on August 20, acclaimed singer, songwriter, and actor Josh Groban brings his powerhouse vocals and celebrated catalog to the Premier Theater.
On August 22, Cocktail Carnival takes over the Premier Ballroom and Fox Tower Lawn & Terrace for an afternoon of tastings, carnival games, interactive experiences, and more. The celebration continues the following day with a special For You Fest edition of WAVE Foxwoods Day Party at The Fox Tower Pool.
The month closes with the return of Schemitzun: Feast of Green Corn and Dance from August 28 through 30. Hosted by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the annual celebration of Native culture, heritage, and community features traditional and contemporary dance, live music, Native arts and crafts, cultural experiences, and more. On August 29, The Ultimate Doors: Tribute To The Doors brings the legendary music of The Doors to the Great Cedar Showroom before WAVE Foxwoods Day Party: Candyland closes out the month on August 30.
