Weston resident Keith Richards and The Rolling Stones announce Marvel vinyl collection

Weston resident Keith Richards and The Rolling Stones are partnering with Marvel for a specialized collector’s vinyl release. The collaboration celebrates the band’s upcoming studio album, Foreign Tongues. Scheduled for release on July 10, 2026, the exclusive United States series features five collectible vinyl variants inspired by iconic Marvel characters.

The collection focuses on Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, and The Hulk. Marvel illustrators designed exclusive album artwork for the release. Each variant is paired with a custom comic book insert that showcases artwork matching that specific vinyl edition. Pre-orders for the series are currently open online.

The 14-track album, dropping via Capitol Records, follows the band’s Grammy Award-winning album Hackney Diamonds. The Stones introduced the new project with the lead single “In the Stars” and the opening track “Rough and Twisted.”

Richards, Mick Jagger, and Ronnie Wood recorded the new material in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in West London. They worked alongside producer Andrew Watt, who also produced their previous record. The album features the band’s core collaborators, including Darryl Jones, Steve Jordan, and Matt Clifford.

The project also includes a performance by the late Charlie Watts, tracking from one of his final recording sessions before his death in 2021. Several guest artists contributed to the album, including Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
