New York Rangers assign trio to Hartford Wolf Pack

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Marc Del Gaizo and forwards Anton Blidh and Glenn Gawdin to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack.

Del Gaizo, 26, scored a career-high nine goals during the 2025-26 campaign as a member of the Laval Rocket. Overall, in 62 games played, Del Gaizo scored 27 points (9 g, 18 a). He finished second on the club in goals and points scored by a defenseman.

The native of Basking Ridge, NJ, has played in 300 career AHL games thus far with the Rocket and Milwaukee Admirals, scoring 128 points (34 g, 94 a). He’s also appeared in 55 career NHL games with the Nashville Predators, scoring 12 points (2 g, 10 a).

Blidh, 31, skated in 64 games with the Wolf Pack a season ago, scoring 16 points (8 g, 8 a). He also appeared in four games with the Rangers, recording an assist. He set AHL career-high marks in goals (19), assists (17), and points (36) during the 2024-25 campaign in Hartford.

The native of Mölnlycke, SWE, is a veteran of 530 AHL games with the Wolf Pack, Colorado Eagles, and Providence Bruins. During that time, he has scored 180 points (93 g, 87 a).

Blidh enters the 2026-27 season as the club’s longest-tenured player, having skated in 216 games over parts of four seasons.

Gawdin, 29, registered 51 points (16 g, 35 a) in 71 games with the Ontario Reign last season. He led the club in assists with 35 and finished third overall in team scoring.

The native of Richmond, BC, is a veteran of 471 career AHL games with the Reign, San Deigo Gulls, and Stockton Heat. During that time, he has scored 349 points (127 g, 222 a). Gawdin was an AHL All-Star during the 2019-20 season as a member of the Heat.
