Norwich is brimming with exciting events this fall season! If you’re searching for some autumnal entertainment, look no further than Norwich Events. They’re hosting three events over the next couple of weeks: the Norwich Halloween Strut, the Halloween Pub Crawl, and the First Friday Give Thanks Around the World Cultural Food Stroll. Additionally, there are numerous other events happening in Norwich hosted by various organizations. Halloween Strut
Friday October 28, 2023 from 5 pm – 8 pm
Come and join the fun in downtown Norwich along Broadway, Bath, and Franklin Streets. While shopping and dining in our many terrific establishments, you can strut around in costume. Experience an assortment of tasty treats from CT food trucks and browse crafter booths, all set in a festive Halloween environment. For a safe pedestrian experience, Broadway from City Hall to the courthouse, and Bath from Broadway to Franklin will be closed to traffic. You can enter the costume parade, be entertained by dancing witches, visit the Norwichtown Village playhouses, and partake in many other family-friendly activities scheduled for this annual event. All ages are welcome, and costumes are encouraged for a spooky good time!

Hands-on Cooking with Chef Roman

Join La Stella Pasta and Pastry for a hands-on cooking class with your favorite local chef, Crystal Roman, who is also the owner of Whisk Together Catering. In this class, you will learn how to make a delicious homemade Roasted Beet Salad with Green Apples, Butternut Squash Ravioli with a Butter Sage Sauce, and Frittelle di Mele. It’s going to be a great opportunity to learn some new cooking skills and enjoy some delicious food!
The tickets for the event cost $95 per person, and they include several exciting features such as class instructions by Chef Roman, all the necessary supplies required to make the scrumptious recipes, recipe cards to take back home, wine tasting and pairing guidance by Justin Burrows, and a fun evening spent at La Stella Pasta and Pastry. Additionally, you will receive a 15% discount on your market purchases that night.

Senior Center Trunk-or-Treat

Trick or Treat, smell my feet! Who’s ready for our 6th Annual Trunk or Treat? It will be held at the Rose City Senior Center located at 8 Mahan Drive from 6:00pm-7:30pm on Friday October 27th! FREE for one and all!
For those interested in hosting a trunk, park you car, decorate your trunk, and open it to share candy with ghosts, ghouls, and goblins! All vehicles must be in the parking lot by 5:30pm. Trunks interested in participating MUST register by clicking here at prior to the event!
If you’re planning to come for trick or treating, don’t forget to bring a bag to fill up with all the delicious candy! Our DJ will be playing live music throughout the night.
