Phantom Fall Fest returns to Lake Compounce with new daytime activities and haunted houses

Lake Compounce will host its annual Phantom Fall Fest across 18 select days beginning Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. The seasonal event offers family-focused daytime entertainment along with evening haunted attractions through Nov. 1.

Daytime activities run every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Features include the new Candy Corn Country trick-or-treat trail in Kiddie Land, performances by the new K-Pop-inspired show Ghoul Girls, and themed food items like Pumpkin Spiced Fried Oreos, Maple Bacon Pecan Fried Dough, and Hot Honey Chicken Pizza.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the park transitions to evening operations featuring five haunted houses, two scare zones, and over 100 scare actors. Featured haunted attractions include the returning Project Nightmare, mAlice in Wonderland 3D, Bloodcraft, Malignant: Overgrown Evil, and MediEvil.

The park’s major roller coasters, including Boulder Dash, Wildcat, Zoomerang, and Phobia, will remain open throughout the fall operating schedule. General Manager Daniel Llanas noted that the event expands its daytime options while maintaining evening fright attractions.

Operating hours are Fridays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Single-day tickets are priced at $24.99, and 2027 Season Passes purchased online include admission to the fall festival.
