Rock band Foghat will perform at Toad’s Place in New Haven on Friday, Oct. 16. The performance comes as the group continues its 2026 “Twang & Bang Tour” across the United States.

Formed in the United Kingdom more than 55 years ago, the band’s current lineup features founding drummer Roger Earl alongside lead and slide guitarist Bryan Bassett, lead vocalist and guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn. The venue setlist will draw from the group’s catalog of classic hits, including “Fool for the City,” “Slow Ride,” and “I Just Wanna Make Love To You.”

The New Haven show lands just ahead of the band’s upcoming live release, Live & Loud Across the U.S.A., which is scheduled for release on Oct. 30 through Foghat Records. The three-vinyl album set marks the first official live collection recorded by the group’s current lineup, capturing performances recorded on tour during 2024 and 2025.

The upcoming triple-vinyl set includes two gold vinyl discs of live Foghat tracks alongside a third red vinyl disc featuring a reissue of Shaken & Stirred, an album originally recorded under the name Earl & the Agitators. The group has also released a music video for the album’s lead single, “My Babe.”

The band’s recent stage work follows the success of their 2023 studio record, Sonic Mojo, which spent 34 weeks on the Billboard Top 10 Blues Albums chart.
