Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce announced successful emerging professionals event in Walnut Beach

The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the completion of its latest E.P.I.C. Social Hour event, which took place on June 24, 2026. The gathering was hosted at the newly renovated Lazy Lobster restaurant, located on Broadway in the Walnut Beach neighborhood. Local attendees spent the evening networking outdoors near the Long Island Sound.

Around 50 area business professionals and local entrepreneurs gathered at the event to network and share business ideas. The evening was supported by the venue’s staff, including owner Angelo Luvara and general manager Tee Panatsas. The restaurant kitchen provided a curated selection of food for the business gathering throughout the evening.

The venue serves as a longtime staple of the Walnut Beach neighborhood and recently underwent structural expansions. The newly updated space features an enhanced menu that introduces a variety of new appetizers and entrees alongside the traditional staple items. The physical renovations were designed to upgrade the indoor atmosphere while preserving the property’s coastal theme.

The hosting program, which stands for Emerging Professionals in the Community, specifically focuses on helping younger business professionals build strategic regional connections. The organized social hours are designed to offer structured opportunities for individuals to network with peers and veteran industry professionals.

The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce announced that it intends to continue establishing these physical spaces to support local business collaboration. The organization design targets the growth and strengthening of the broader regional business community. Information regarding future professional networking events is managed directly through the chamber.
