Music at the Barn outdoor concert series hosts Fairfield County band One Bad Oyster

The band One Bad Oyster will perform ska and surf music at the Weston History and Culture Center this summer. The performance is part of the organization’s outdoor concert series, Music at the Barn, and is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026. The musical event will take place on the historic grounds of the property from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The performing group is based out of Fairfield County, Connecticut, and features a full horn section. The musicians perform a combination of original tracks alongside classic, upbeat ska and surf tunes. Their musical style is specifically developed for outdoor festivals, shoreline gatherings, and seasonal venues.

Concert attendees are instructed to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as all seating for the event is located outdoors. Visitors are also permitted to bring picnics and beverages to the performance space, which features on-site indoor restrooms. In the event of inclement weather, the organizers will reschedule the performance and post updates to their official website.

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance through the organization’s website or directly at the gate on the evening of the show. Admission costs $15 for adult and teen Weston History and Culture Center members, while non-member tickets are priced at $20. Children aged 12 and under are eligible to attend the performance free of charge.

The Weston History and Culture Center is located at 104 Weston Road in Weston, Connecticut. Free vehicle parking is available in the main lot situated on High Acre Road, with additional overflow parking permitted along the same roadway. The seasonal music series is sponsored by Fairfield County Bank, the Esthetic Dental Group of Westport, and the Aquarion Water Company.
