Travelers Championship announces current 2026 player field

The Travelers Championship has announced its current player lineup for the upcoming 2026 tournament cycle. The competition is scheduled to take place from June 22 through June 28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. This tournament serves as the final Signature Event of the current PGA Tour schedule.

The preliminary roster features nearly all eligible players from the top 50 spots in the Official World Golf Ranking. World number one Scottie Scheffler, who won the Connecticut tournament in 2024, is among the competitors. The initial field also includes Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Russell Henley, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, J.J. Spaun, Collin Morikawa, and multi-year tournament winner Keegan Bradley.

As an official Signature Event, the tournament utilizes specific performance criteria to secure a competitive field of 72 professional players. The entry requirements draw from the top 50 individuals in the previous season’s FedExCup standings alongside the top ten players from the current 2026 standings. Additional spots are designated for high-performing players from recent regional tournaments, active 2026 tournament winners, and top-ranked members within the global golf rankings.

The player roster remains subject to change until the conclusion of the ongoing U.S. Open tournament. Nathan Grube, the Travelers Championship Tournament Director, stated that preparations are nearly finished at the course ahead of the four-day competitive rounds. Organizers will finalize the remaining sponsor exemptions on Monday once all performance-based entry categories are fully locked.

Five previous champions of the event are currently expected to compete in the upcoming schedule, including Bradley, Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Harris English, and Jordan Spieth. Spectators are permitted on-site at the Cromwell facility starting on Wednesday, June 24. For individuals viewing from home, the tournament rounds will be broadcast across the Golf Channel and NBC networks, with digital streaming options available via ESPN+, Peacock, and the Golf Channel application.
