Mystic Seaport Museum to host annual WoodenBoat Show in June

The 34th annual WoodenBoat Show is returning to the Mystic Seaport Museum later this month. Hosted in partnership with WoodenBoat Publications, the three-day event is scheduled for June 26–28, 2026.
The weekend event focuses on wooden boatbuilding craftsmanship and maritime culture. Visitors can view more than 100 traditional and classic wooden vessels along the museum’s waterfront campus. The display features handcrafted kayaks, mahogany runabouts, classic daysailers, schooners, and other historic and contemporary wooden craft.
Organizers expect the show to bring together boatbuilders, sailors, craftsmen, collectors, families, and maritime enthusiasts. The scheduled programming includes exhibits, demonstrations, presentations, and on-the-water experiences.

Christopher Freeman noted that the show continues to bring people together around maritime tradition. He stated that the event offers an experience for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship and coastal heritage, whether they are a lifelong sailor or a boatbuilder.
The show runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while the standard museum exhibitions will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free parking is available in the museum lots. Limited paid reserved parking is also available for Saturday and Sunday, which must be purchased by noon on June 26.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale. Mystic Seaport Museum members receive free admission for all three days of the show. For non-members, one-day adult passes cost $40 and three-day passes cost $60. Senior tickets for individuals ages 65 and older are priced at $37 for one day and $57 for three days. Passes for youth ages 4 to 17 cost $25 for a single day or $50 for all three days, while children aged 3 and under enter for free.
