Mohegan Sun announces 2026 Pride Weekend lineup

Mohegan Sun has unveiled a multi-day schedule for its Pride Weekend celebration, featuring live music, drag performances, and social events on June 5 and 6.

The festivities begin Friday, June 5, at 10 p.m. with Summer Orlando’s Drag Bingo at Comix Roadhouse. The celebration continues Saturday, June 6, with “Pride on the Sun Patio” from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This outdoor event features food trucks, local vendors, and a drag showcase hosted by Mia E. Z’Lay.

“Our free, all-ages and always electric Pride on the Sun Patio is home to a special drag showcase and sensational live music by way of Mohegan Sun’s Locals Live 2025 winners, Sister Funk,” said Kim Noto, CMO of Mohegan Sun. “We can’t wait to celebrate Pride Weekend this June across Mohegan Sun.”

The Saturday afternoon patio lineup includes performances by Ambrosia Black, Dom Parinyon, Enigma Jones, Midnight, and Felicity V. Lay. Sister Funk, an all-female band that won the 2025 Locals Live competition, will perform pop and alternative rock hits from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Late-night events on Saturday include “Lipstick, Lashes & Lies,” a variety drag show at Comix Roadhouse at 10 p.m., and “Pride @ Night” at Avalon Nightclub starting at 9 p.m. Guests who show their “Pride on the Sun Patio” wristband will receive a free cover charge at Avalon.

The celebration extends later in the month when the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun hosts Pride Night on June 26. The team will face the Washington Mystics at 7:30 p.m., featuring a national anthem performance by the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus.
