Reggae legends Buju Banton and Stephen Marley to perform in Bridgeport

Grammy Award-winning reggae icons Buju Banton and Stephen Marley will bring their co-headlining “Roots And Rhymes” U.S. Summer Tour 2026 to the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on July 11.

The performance marks the first time the two legends have teamed up for a full-scale tour. They will be joined by special guest Gramps Morgan, a member of the Grammy-winning Morgan Heritage family, with DJ sets provided by Splackavelli.

The tour serves a charitable mission, with $2 from every ticket sold being split between the artists’ respective non-profit organizations. One dollar will benefit the Ghetto Youths Foundation, founded by Stephen, Damian, and Julian Marley, while the other dollar will support the Buju Banton Foundation’s work with Jamaican youth in foster care.

Stephen Marley added, “We have shared a long musical journey, so it’s always a blessing to get together like this. It’s going to be a powerful celebration of reggae and dancehall.”
