Five For Fighting string quartet tour sets October dates for Hartford and Fairfield

Five For Fighting will bring his signature string quartet tour to Connecticut for two performances this October, featuring arrangements of hits and new material.

The tour is scheduled to stop at Infinity Hall Hartford on Sunday, Oct. 4, followed by a performance at the Sacred Heart Community Theatre in Fairfield on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The performances feature John Ondrasik accompanied by a quartet of Broadway veterans, including “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” concertmaster Katie Kresek. According to Ondrasik, the tour provides a “behind the music” experience with storytelling and special arrangements.

Ondrasik recently performed in Tel Aviv to support humanitarian efforts, including a tribute to hostage Alon Ohel. The October shows will also feature opening sets by the folk-rock duo Lace & Lee.
