Westport Downtown Association announces Dave Briggs as Emcee and Carey Price as Runway Director for Fashionably Westport
The Westport Downtown Association, Inc. is delighted to announce the Emcee and Runway Director for their fourth Fashionably Westport event, taking place on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 7-10 PM to benefit Homes with Hope’s Project Return. This seasoned event has become a staple in the town, selling out the past three years. The ticketed event will be held at Westport Library Forum with a raised runway. The ticket price includes food, open bar, music, and a gift bag. We will provide more details in the coming weeks on the event.
We are honored to welcome Dave Briggs, former anchor on CNN, NBC Sports, Fox News and Turner Sports. Once he ran out of networks, he landed on ATN for Succession, Season 4. He has lived in Westport since 2008 with his wife, Brandi and his three kids; Emerson, Will and Logan. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Westport Library. We’re excited to see the charm and energy he will bring to the role as this year’s emcee.
We are also excited to announce this year’s Runway Director, Carey Price. Born and raised in the coastal town of Norwalk, CT, Carey Price has always been captivated by the world of fashion. “Growing up, I was inspired by the way clothing can empower and express one’s unique personality. It was this passion that fueled my journey into the fashion industry.” Carey attended Parson’s School of Design, worked with some of the industry’s leading designers and eventually moved to Paris, France to work with Vogue, all which led her to start her own business right here in Westport – Cove Collective.
