WCSU in Danbury Theatre announces 2023-2024 Theatre Arts Season
Western Connecticut State University ‘s 2023-24 theatre season promises an exciting range of productions, including the musical “Something Rotten!,” the classic drama “The Crucible,” and the entertaining “Donkey Show: A Midsummer Night’s Disco.” These shows are open to the public, so be sure to check out their website for more information. Don’t miss this season’s theatrical performances!
- “Something Rotten! A Very New Musical,” the hilarious, blockbuster musical, running Oct. 13 – 22, 2023.
- “Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches,” Tony Kushner’s revered epic and Tony award winner for Best Play, running Nov. 3 – 12, 2023.
- “Three Sisters,” a play by Anton Chekhov, running Dec. 1 – 3, 2023.
- “Next to Normal,” a groundbreaking Pulitzer Prize winning musical, running from Feb. 23 – March 3, 2024.
- “The Donkey Show: A Midsummer Night’s Disco,” a disco and glitter-filled retelling of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” running from April 5 – 14, 2024.
- “The Crucible,” the famous play by Arthur Miller, running from April 19 – 28, 2024.
