Travelers Championship retains PGA Tour Signature Event status for 2026

The Travelers Championship will again be featured as a PGA TOUR Signature Event in 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year the tournament has held an elevated position on the tour schedule and the 20th straight year Travelers has served as title sponsor.

The 2026 Travelers Championship is scheduled for June 22–28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell and will bring together 72 of the world’s top golfers for the final Signature Event of the season.

“Coming off another record-setting year of generating millions of dollars for hundreds of charities throughout the region, we’re excited by the plans and the progress already being made for this year’s tournament,” Tournament Director Nathan Grube said in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome back the best players on the PGA TOUR and the incredible fans who make this tournament one of the best weeks in golf.”

The Travelers Championship is the only annual PGA TOUR stop in the Northeast. Last year’s event was won by Keegan Bradley, who clinched the title with a birdie on the final hole to win by one stroke. The New England native also captured the tournament in 2023, becoming one of only eight players to win the event multiple times.

Beyond the competition, the tournament continued its strong charitable impact in 2025, generating more than $4 million for 245 charities — both tournament records. Since Travelers became title sponsor in 2007, the event has raised more than $35 million for more than 1,000 charitable organizations.

“The players I’ve spoken with are eager to return to Connecticut, and we are just as excited to host them,” said Andy Bessette, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Travelers. “Having the best players in the world competing in our field gives our fans the opportunity to see world-class golf while also supporting our charitable efforts.”

As a Signature Event, the Travelers Championship features a $20 million purse, awards 700 FedExCup points and $3.6 million to the winner, and does not include a 36-hole cut, allowing all players to compete in all four rounds. In 2025, the field included every player in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking and 45 of the top 50.

Individual tickets are expected to go on sale in early April, with corporate ticket packages available now. Ticketed fans may attend beginning Wednesday, June 24.

The tournament will be broadcast on Golf Channel, NBC and Peacock, PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, SiriusXM and the TOUR’s international World Feed.
