Todd English’s Tuscany reopens at Mohegan Sun with refreshed space and revamped Italian menu

Todd English’s Tuscany has reopened at Mohegan Sun following a major refresh that brings a modern look and an expanded dining experience to one of the resort’s most popular restaurants.

The reimagined space blends contemporary design with the warm atmosphere longtime guests expect, while a revamped menu adds new energy to Tuscany’s classic Italian offerings. The restaurant now features house-made pastas, an expanded cocktail program and a new signature section spotlighting specialty meatballs.

“As we enter the new year, we’re thrilled to welcome guests back to Todd English’s Tuscany after significant improvements to the overall dining atmosphere,” said Chris Greaney, vice president of food and beverage at Mohegan Sun. “The enhancements to the venue and menu reflect our commitment to delivering unmatched dining experiences for every occasion.”

New menu highlights include Wagyu Bolognese, lobster fra diavolo and Chilean sea bass marsala, alongside longtime favorites such as New York strip steak and chicken Parmesan. The new “Meat-a-Ball” selections range from Nonna’s classic meatballs with ragu and ricotta to duck confit meatballs with agrodolce and fruit mostarda, spicy veal meatballs with Parmesan cream, and vegetarian options featuring maitake mushrooms and truffle crema.

Tuscany’s updated beverage menu introduces specialty cocktails designed to pair with the cuisine, including the Affogato Martini with vanilla vodka and espresso, the Gin Basil Smash, the Pistachio Martini and the Tuscano Fling with citrus vodka, elderflower liqueur and Aperol.

The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., with extended hours until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Weekend brunch includes a complimentary glass of Champagne or a mimosa, along with stations featuring eggs Benedict, omelets, carving selections, pastries and salads.

As part of the reopening, renovations to the popular Taughannick Falls Bar are scheduled to begin Jan. 5 and are expected to be completed in time for the Sun Wine & Food Fest on Jan. 22. Planned upgrades include new seating, a redesigned back bar and additional aesthetic enhancements.

Reservations for Todd English’s Tuscany are now being accepted through the Mohegan Sun website.
