The Westport Fine Arts Festival celebrates 51 years this Memorial Day Weekend
With over 140 juried Fine Artists, an Encanto Village in the children’s area, music and food for the whole family to enjoy

51st Westport Fine Arts Festival
The Westport Downtown Association is excited to present the 51st Westport Fine Arts Festival, on Memorial Day Weekend – Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th from 10 AM to 5 PM. This juried festival is a top twenty nationally ranked show and features the award-winning work of over 140 fine artists from across the country in 11 categories. Additionally, we are delighted to introduce Encanto Village, a children’s area based on the popular movie, “Encanto” for families with children to enjoy.
This year’s children’s area is sponsored by Gault Family Companies and David Adam Realty. Encanto Village is based on the 2021 animated movie “Encanto.” Children can participate in an inspirational community project called, “Westport Rocks.” Each child can nurture his or her own “gift” of artistry by writing inspiring messages on the rocks. These rocks will be placed in planters around downtown Westport. Similar to the movie, the rocks will reflect the themes of strength, beauty, and nature. In addition, there will be “Encanto” theme activities such as face painting provided by Yasmeen Face Painting and Henna, tie-dye provided by Ariana Crusculo Tie Dye, and jewelry for tweens and teens supplied by Sweet Bond. To capture the spirit of “Encanto”, a beautiful backdrop of the village by local artist, Abby Correa will be displayed. Finally, there will be musical performances from Westport’s Suzuki School of Music and New Canaan’s School of Rock for your entertainment. Unlike Bruno, you’ll want to talk about this children’s area!
Adults can relax and enjoy beverages sponsored by Martignetti Companies and Two Roads Brewing. Popular food vendors such as Alina’s Cakes and Cookies, Big Dipper Ice Cream & Yogurt Parlour, Just Bite Me LLC, Kettle Corn & Lemonade, Krazy Kream, Los Poblanos, and Nate’s Lemonade will be on-site. Other vendors at the festival include Advanced Windows, Hannah May Jewelry, Huntington Learning Center, Joi Lily, Neil Hamilton Venture Photography, and Renewal by Anderson.
This year, MG & Associates Design Build sponsors the fine artists’ breakfast reception on May 25 and May 26. We are grateful for their generosity and support of this year’s festival.
The Fine Arts Festival is a free event. All art will be available for purchase at various price points. There will be three entry points to the festival: Elm Street, Main and Avery Streets, and Post and Main Streets. Festival visitors will enjoy live music on both days in several locations on the festival’s footprint.
This festival is notable as a highlight for collectors and residents from the Tri-State region, New England, and beyond. The festival features a premier roster of regional, national, and international fine artists exhibiting in various media categories – including painting, photography, sculpture, fiber, printmaking, mixed media, glass, ceramics, jewelry, wood, graphics, and printmaking. All artwork is available in various price ranges, themes, and styles.
