The Ridgefield Independent Film Festival All Access Pass gains entry to some amazing events during this weekend RIFF No. 9
The All Access Pass gains entry to this year’s 39 films, Q&A, opening & closing receptions, access to the Filmmakers Lounge ‘Make Your Movie’ panel discussion and 9th Annual Awards Brunch
Those with the RIFF ALL ACCESS pass will be greeted at Ridgefield Vintage & Coffee 346 Ethan Allen Highway, RIFF’s 2024 Filmmakers’ Lounge with a complimentary cup of coffee by Quartertone Coffee Roasters, or tea by Grace Farms Teas, and snacks by Pepsi. This is the perfect time to mingle with filmmakers, pick up the 2024 Film Guide, and even browse the vintage clothes and accessories of the shop!Â
The ‘Make Your Movie ‘panel moderated by independent filmmaker, Daniel Schechter (LIFE OF CRIME, AFTER CLASS, SUPPORTING CHARACTERS) will take place on Friday, May 17th at 2pm at Lounsbury House 316 Main Street, and feature RIFF Filmmakers: Brooke Berman (RAMONA AT MIDLIFE), Alix Speyer Bacher (DON’T BE DAINTY…IT’S DERBY), Brett Butler(PURGATORY JACK), Brian Russell (NOT THE SAME CLARENCE), Ethan Isaac and Bill Fitzgerald (THE SUGAR MAKER)Women In Film & Video Northeast’s Wendy Wilkins, and Elizabeth Page of From Script to Production Lab (FS2P) . Filmmakers will discuss their own experiences with filmmaking and answer questions from the audience.
Finally, the 9th Annual Awards Brunch, hosted by local filmmaker Joanna James (A FINE LINE), will bring audiences and filmmakersto the Keeler Tavern Museum’s Garden House on Sunday May 19th, at noon on 152 Main Street, to enjoy great food in a beautiful environment. Enjoy a full brunch catered by The Benjamin, coffee by Quartertone Coffee Roasters, tea by Grace Farms Teas, mimosas by Budha Girl Sparkling, and wines by Sommlike, with the filmmakers and help RIFF honor their efforts and accomplishments in filmmaking.
Events for Ridgefield Independent Film Festival will begin Thursday Night at 7 PM and end at 3 PM Sunday afternoon.Â
