The Magical Music of Mozart
The Connecticut Choral Society invites you to an afternoon of Mozart featuring Requiem K. 626. The concert will be at 3 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street, Newtown, CT.
The magical music of Mozart matinee is part of the Connecticut Choral Society’s 40th Anniversary season. Under the direction of Eric Dale Knapp, this performance will bring to life his magical masterwork, Requiem K. 626, whose genesis is shrouded in mystery. It will also feature performances of his Clarinet Concerto in A Major and Ave Verum Corpus. The Connecticut Choral Society will be joined by ORCHESTRANEXUS, the Nexus Choral Artists, soloists Diana McVey, soprano, Veronica Pollicino, mezzo-soprano, Wesley Morgan, tenor, Damian Savarino, bass, and renowned organist Linda Sweetman-Waters.
