Taylor Swift sent a $50,000 donation to a GoFundMe campaign for a Connecticut mother who was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle, according to a report by TMZ.
The recipient, Ashley Taunton, was struck by a hydroplaning vehicle after pulling over to assist another driver involved in an accident during a rainstorm on 95 on July 18, 2026. Taunton, a mother of three, has undergone two surgeries for her injuries and faces an extended recovery process.
TMZ confirmed that Swift left a message wishing Taunton and her family well alongside the contribution.
The report notes that Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, have made several high-profile charitable contributions recently, including a $26 million donation distributed among 20 different organizations ahead of their summer wedding.
