Game Times for Friday’s Baseball and Softball Games Adjusted to 3 p.m.
Fan Appreciation Fest Pregame Has Been Canceled
STORRS, Conn. – Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Friday, May 6, the UConn baseball and softball teams have adjusted their game times from 6 p.m. to 3 p.m.
With the schedule changes the Fan Appreciation Fest has been canceled, but multiple food trucks are expected to have a presence in addition to the normal concessions fare available at Elliot Ballpark and Burrill Family Field. As announced previously, fans who have purchased a ticket to the baseball or softball game will be able to gain entry to both venues on Friday.
The softball team is playing its final regular season series against Villanova this weekend and is one win away from clinching its first BIG EAST regular season crown since 2001.
The No. 15 baseball team takes on Creighton and is one-game ahead of the Bluejays in the BIG EAST standings.
