This weekend is the 11th Annual Health & Wellness Expo in Stamford. I reached out to Billy Blanks Jr. and asked him if he had inspiration for anyone trying to make a healthier lifestyle change. Here is his advice
Whether looking for inspiration to begin a healthy lifestyle path, or finding what continues to keep you motivated on your journey, the key is in the fun factor.
I use dance because it can always change your mood. Start by putting on music that you like. It sounds silly, but dance around the house while cleaning, dance and move to music you love. Once you start you won’t be able to stop. What you’re doing to stay healthy shouldn’t feel like a chore or it’ll be hard to stick to. Finding something you can enjoy is vital to getting motivated and staying motivated. It’s for anyone, at any level, any shape or size! And health and Wellness is not just about exercise.
