Sir Rod Stewart to bring “The Final Run” tour to Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Aug. 7

Two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Sir Rod Stewart will bring his “The Final Run” tour to Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Friday, Aug. 7, as part of the venue’s Xfinity Concert Series.

Joining Stewart for the show will be special guest Richard Marx.

Tickets will first be available through presales beginning Tuesday, March 17, at 10 a.m., including artist and Citi presales running through Thursday, March 19, at 10 p.m. A Richard Marx presale will begin Wednesday, March 18, at 10 a.m. The general on-sale begins Friday, March 20, at 10 a.m. through LiveNation.

Stewart recently performed in Connecticut on March 13 at Mohegan Sun Arena. His concerts feature large-scale production and a setlist spanning his decades-long career, with hits including Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Tonight’s the Night, You Wear It Well, and Forever Young.

Stewart is one of the best-selling artists in music history, with more than 250 million records and singles sold worldwide. His work spans multiple genres, including rock, folk, soul, R&B, and interpretations of the Great American Songbook. In addition to being inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he has received numerous honors, including the ASCAP Founders Award and the Grammy Living Legend Award. In 2016, he was knighted at Buckingham Palace for his contributions to music and charity.

Stewart’s recent projects include the 2024 album Swing Fever, a collaboration with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra that celebrates classic big band songs.

Marx, a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and producer, has sold more than 45 million albums worldwide and is known for hits such as Right Here Waiting, Hazard, and Hold On to the Nights. Over his four-decade career, Marx has also written and produced songs for artists including Luther Vandross, Keith Urban, and Barbra Streisand.
