Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is excited to kick off 2025’s must-attend event, the Wild Wine, Beer & Food Safari! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7th, and get ready for an unforgettable evening with delicious bites, craft beverages, games and live entertainment. Sip and savor hundreds of tastings from more than 40 top restaurants, caterers, and beverage vendors while enjoying live music, fun games, a premium silent auction, and up-close encounters with amazing zoo animals. “This event sells out every year and is the talk of the region for months. Friends, family members and couples get an immersive experience at the zoo while enjoying a flavorful food, wine, and beer safari, with live music and animals on exhibit,” stated Jim Wharton, CEO of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. “We are really looking forward showing off a few new vendors this year and extend our appreciation to all of our sponsors who make this evening possible.”
VIP Hour this year is hosted by Foolproof Brewing along with Cat’s Kitchen and Bites Company. Guests will enjoy sampling brews selections while tasting cuisines and cultures that are a delicious mouthful to please any tastebuds. This taste expedition will feature delectable fare from local restaurants and caterers such as: Amrita Health Foods, The Batch Pantry, The Bites Company, Cfolossal Kielbasa, Shake Shack, East Coast Clambakes, Dave Grant Caterers, Fortuna’s, Garden Catering, Lesser Evil, Little Pub, Nuovo Pasta, Palmer’s Catering & Events, Retreat Sweet, Rose Sisters Chips, The Taste Garden, Vazzy’s, and Vinny’s Pizza.
As one of the Zoo’s largest fundraisers, Wild Wine, Beer and Food Safari supports the care of endangered species, exhibit expansions, and educational programming. This is an adult only 21+ event, rain or shine.
