Shuffle to Showdown, a new Blackjack Casino 101 Series, Hits Mohegan Sun this Summer
Mohegan Sun also extends a popular hotel package that offers $50 in Free Slot Play for Momentum members
After debuting on May 31st, Mohegan Sun is excited to add more dates to Shuffle to Showdown: Casino 101. These events, which take place inside Mohegan Sun’s upscale restaurant, bar and lounge, novelle, will return on Friday, June 21st, Friday July 26th, and Friday, August 23rd. Featured at these events are experts from Mohegan Sun’s gaming division who help guests learn the ropes of one of the most thrilling card games on the casino floor: Blackjack. Tickets to Shuffle to Showdown are $50, and available HERE. These events start at 5:30pm and end with a friendly tournament among guests to put their skills to the test to win prizes from various sponsors, including grand prizes such as two Green Monster tickets at Fenway Park when KC takes on Boston on Friday, July 12th!
Guests looking to parlay these fun events into an overnight can also take advantage of the Hold & Spin Free Slot Play Hotel Package, which includes $50 credit to play on any of Mohegan Sun’s 3,500+ slot machines.

When to hit, split, or double down, and all of the other key strategies for Blackjack – will be discussed and dissected at Mohegan Sun’s Shuffle to Showdown series. Blackjack is one of the most popular table games at any casino, for novices and seasoned pros alike, though staying on top of various strategies and learning new ones can be a worthwhile and fun experience. That is what the team at novelle, one of Mohegan Sun’s top nightlife locations which also features both table games and slots, aims to do. For the June 21st event, instructors will guide guests through the ins and outs of this classic casino game using “fun money.” At the end, guests will test their skills in a tournament to win exciting Grand Prizes. At the debut Shuffle to Showdown event in late May, the grand prize was a pair of Stevie Nicks tickets inside Mohegan Sun Arena and for the upcoming event on June 21st, a tournament winner will take home two Green Monster tickets for a Boston game on Friday, July 12th!, Guests will also be able to play at a designated area on the casino floor, or at a $25 limit table within novelle!
Additionally, Mohegan Sun’s gaming themed hotel package is being extended. For travelers 21+ booking the Hold & Spin Free Slot Play Package, at check-in guests will receive a $50 Free Slot Play voucher as part of their stay.
