Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Ann Wilson to perform at Ridgefield Playhouse

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Ann Wilson announced an upcoming Ridgefield concert performance alongside the psychedelic rock group Tripsitter. The live appearance is scheduled for October 9, 2026, at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield. The performance forms part of a broader slate of creative projects scheduled for the musician this autumn.

The performance date follows the upcoming release of her new studio album, titled Consecrated Ground, which debuts on August 14, 2026. The collaborative record combines elements of heavy rock, psychedelia, and blues instrumentation with raw songwriting styles. To support the announcement, the ensemble has released the project’s lead single, titled I Will Not Be Coming Back, across digital streaming platforms.

The new track features prominent themes of liberation, transformation, and self-determination. The studio project marks the latest career milestone for Wilson, who previously established her career as the lead singer and songwriter for the band Heart. With Heart, she contributed to rock tracks such as Barracuda, Crazy On You, Magic Man, Alone, and These Dreams, resulting in over 35 million albums sold worldwide.

The upcoming autumn show follows Wilson’s recent return to live performance on Heart’s Royal Flush Tour after her recovery from cancer. In addition to her touring and studio work, the vocalist recently launched a conversational podcast titled After Dinner Thinks. The program features discussions with cultural figures and independent recording artists, including Chappell Roan, Lucy Dacus, and Billy Bob Thornton.

Wilson is also set to be the subject of an upcoming biographical documentary film titled In My Voice, which reviews her life and career resilience. Digital portals have launched pre-order options for the new collaborative album alongside the active ticket distribution channels for the venue.
