Ridgefield Theater Barn announces Adult Acting Workshop
The Ridgefield Theater Barn (37 Halpin Ln, Ridgefield, CT 06877) is pleased to present their first Adult Acting Workshop since their expansion. The six-class workshop will be taught by Gina Pulice, an accomplished Acting Coach for stage and screen. Meeting Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm at 37 Halpin Lane, Ridgefield, CT from January 22nd through March 5th , 2025, the focus of this workshop is on Acting Technique for any skill level. Actors will work on scenes and/or monologues – developing techniques related to understanding intention, character development, story arcs, rehearsal, and performance. All levels of experience are welcome.
Gina Pulice has 30 years of experience in the theatre. She is a writer, podcaster, performer, director, and producer, currently co-hosting the podcast I Survived Theatre School, and serving as Operations Manager at the Ridgefield Theater Barn. She received her B.F.A. from DePaul University in Chicago, where she was a founding member of JABOA company. Upon heading back to her native California, she worked in the touring company for a beloved children’s theater company, was a middle school Drama teacher, and was a company member at the inception of Berkeley’s Shotgun Players. There, she served as creative director for their black box projects and created/directed several original works, as well as performing in their main stage seasons. Since moving to Connecticut, she has worked with Thrown Stone Theatre, Theatre Artists Workshop, and the Ridgefield Theater Barn. In the last five years, she has expanded her expertise to include Acting for the Camera technique. Gina has worked with actors of all ages, and students in her classes have gone on to win many prestigious acting award nominations and wins. Gina also holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Loyola University and worked as a clinical social worker for 13 years.
