Rick Ross will perform at the Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, Sept. 5, as part of the Sun Patio Concert Series. The acclaimed rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. for the outdoor event.

Tickets for the general admission show go on sale Friday, April 24, via Ticketmaster. Starting April 25, tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. The Sun Patio is an outdoor venue that features a full bar and deck for guests aged 21 and older, and performances take place rain or shine.

The Miami-raised artist first achieved national prominence in 2006 with the single “Hustlin’” and his debut album, “Port of Miami,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Throughout his career, Ross has earned nine Grammy nominations and released platinum-certified hits including “The Boss,” “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” and “Aston Martin Music.” He is expected to release a new album titled “Set In Stone” later this year, featuring the single “Minks In Miami.”

Beyond his solo career, Ross founded Maybach Music Group, a label that has represented artists such as Meek Mill, Wale, and French Montana. He has also become a prolific collaborator, contributing to hits by Kanye West, Drake, and Lil Wayne. His recent work includes “Rather You Than Me” and “Richer Than I Ever Been,” which reflect nearly two decades of influence in the hip-hop industry.
