I had the unique opportunity to witness Black Guy Fawkes and his self-described Appalachian Punk music at the College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment BGF took the stage, there was an undeniable energy that filled the venue, setting the tone for a night of unapologetic musical rebellion of sorts.
Black Guy Fawkes brought a refreshing fusion of Appalachian folk influences and punk rock, creating a genre-folk-bending sound that was as captivating as it was original. The performance was a whirlwind of raw passion and skill, with BGF showcasing his immense talent and dedication to the music and his poetic lyrics.
