Mohegan Sun is excited to announce the return of Pride Weekend! On Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th, celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with various fun-filled Pride activities including the Connecticut Sun Pride Game, Pride on the Sun Patio, Cocktails & Queens in The Cabaret Theatre, Pride @ Night and Drag Bingo Brunch Presented by Troupe429!
Connecticut Sun Pride Game | Mohegan Sun Arena | Saturday, June 8th | 1:00pm
The Connecticut Sun will host its Pride Game, presented by Jordan’s Furniture, against the New York Liberty. Fans can show their Pride, loud and proud, while enjoying a special halftime performance. The first 3,500 fans will receive a crossbody bag sponsored by Jordan’s Furniture. Tickets to the Connecticut Sun Pride Game are on sale now and can be purchased via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.
Pride on the Sun Patio | Sun Patio | Saturday, June 8th | 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Pride will take over the newly renovated Sun Patio with local businesses and support organizations that highlight the LGBTQ+ community! DJ Gadget will keep the energy going with upbeat and energetic music throughout the day. From 3:30pm-4:30pm get ready to witness an electrifying lip sync battle hosted by Mohegan Digital that features Comix Kings and Queens! Kenya Mone Heart, who was crowned Queen of the Sun Patio in 2023, goes head-to-head against Mia E. Z’Lay, Ambrosia Black, Frankie Cyanide, and Arya Black before a special guest performance by The Darling Divas hosted by Ryan Leckey! Enjoy a variety of drink specials at the Sun Patio Bar and indulge in incredible food by Curb Your Appetite, Jayy’s, and Kona Ice. Pride on the Sun Patio is free to attend and open to all ages!
Cocktails & Queens | The Cabaret Theatre | Saturday, June 8th | 8:00pm – 9:30pm
The drag kings and queens are ready to serve! Guests are invited to join Mohegan Sun for a Pride-filled night, with the finest drag performers in the country presenting the most fabulous drag show. Host Kenya Mone Heart will bring an extensive lineup of guest drag queens, headlined by Coco Montrese from RuPaul’s Drag Race and featuring Ivanna, Moxie Angel, and Xiomarie LaBeija!
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend Cocktails & Queens. Tickets to Cocktails & Queens go on sale Friday, May 10th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Ticket price includes one complimentary drink. Don’t want the night to end? Guests can show their Cocktails & Queens ticket at the door of Pride @ Night at Avalon Nightclub to skip the line and pay no cover!
PRIDE @ Night | Avalon Nightclub | Saturday, June 8th | 9:00pm – 2:00am
Keep the party going in Avalon Nightclub for PRIDE @ Night! Sip on delicious drinks and groove to the music of DJ Eazy, who will keep guests dancing to his energetic beats all night long. Guests can come witness this legendary nightclub scene, show off their true colors and shine with pride! All guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend PRIDE @ Night.
Drag Bingo Brunch Presented by Troupe429 | Sun Patio | Sunday, June 9th | 11:00am – 2:00pm
Guests can enjoy this exclusive drag brunch featuring live entertainment and a mouthwatering buffet at the Sun Patio! Brunch is hosted by Sienna Rose with special guests Arya Black, Moxie Angel and Mz. October May Lay from Troupe429! Feeling lucky? Guests can upgrade their brunch tickets to include a game of bingo with chances to win fab prizes! All admission includes one complimentary signature beverage. Free Red Bull will also be available to guests. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Tickets to Drag Bingo Brunch Presented by Toupe429 go on sale Friday, May 10th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.
