Finding Connecticut

Preston, CT is Wicked Tulips’ largest farm, with over 700,000 tulips, representing 150 varieties on 5+ acres of colorful fields. The farm is open between 10am – 7pm every day in season, and offers benches and tables so you can enjoy your time with family and friends. Friendly staff can answer your tulip questions and parking is free. Tulip wrapping stations are also provided, so you can wrap your bouquet before you leave. The farm also has a number of Charitable Giving Back programs so you can support your community by donating tulips, or by using their “pay to wrap” service.

Wicked Tulips’ U-Pick farm visits happen only during their blooming season which usually starts in Connecticut in mid/late April, and lasts to mid-May*. Tickets are required to visit, and should be purchased on their website. Pricing is $5 for children 5 – 17 years old, and adult tickets $20-23. All adult tickets also include 10 u-pick tulips, and more tulips may be bought for $1 each. *Mother Nature determines their u-pick schedule and they only open when the fields are in bloom. They are usually only open for 2-3 weeks. A limited number of visitors is allowed to enter each day to protect the bucolic, natural experience.
