‘Outlander’ concert tour to bring cinematic score to Toyota Oakdale Theatre

GEA Live and Sony Pictures Television have announced that “Outlander in Concert: Echoes Through the Highlands” will perform at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026.

The global tour, which spans more than 75 cities across the United States and Europe, follows a sold-out world premiere in Scotland scheduled for May 30. Tickets for the Wallingford performance went on sale to the public on March 27.

The live experience features a large HD cinema screen displaying visual highlights from all eight seasons of the STARZ series, paired with the Celtic score by Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary. A live ensemble of musicians and vocalists will perform using traditional Scottish instruments, including bagpipes, fiddles, and the hurdy-gurdy.

The concert features a setlist curated by executive producer and showrunner Matthew B. Roberts in collaboration with McCreary. The production includes footage from the eighth and final season, which premiered earlier this month.

“Outlander” is based on the best-selling book series by Diana Gabaldon, which has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide. The television franchise recently expanded with the prequel series “Outlander: Blood of My Blood,” which premiered last fall.

McCreary’s score for the series has become the best-selling title in the Sony Pictures Television catalog, with the theme “Outlander – The Skye Boat Song” surpassing 49 million plays. McCreary is also known for his work on “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” “The Walking Dead,” and the “God of War” video game franchise.
