Out Film CT announces highlights of the 38th Connecticut LGBTQ Film Festival

Out Film CT, organizer of the Nutmeg State’s longest-running and most diverse film festival, announced today highlight programming for the 38th Connecticut LGBTQ Film Festival running June 20-28, 2025.

The majority of the festival will be screened at the festival’s longtime home, the historic and elegant Cinestudio on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford. The closing night film will be held at the Connecticut Science Center in downtown Hartford. In addition, there will be some virtual-only exclusives for film fans to enjoy at home.

Attendees can enjoy social events like the Opening Night after-party (Friday, June 20), the Centerpiece film free pre-reception (Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30pm), and the Closing Night celebration (Saturday, June 28) – all fun social events where film fans and filmmakers can mix and mingle over cocktails and nibbles.

Festival passes a.k.a. FestiPasses are on sale now via the festival’s website, OutFilmCT.org. All Access FestiPasses are $125 for individuals and $200 for households and include access to all features, documentaries and shorts programs (including virtual & in-person shows). The 5-Show FestiPasses are $50 for individuals and $90 for households and includes access to any 5 in-theater or virtual shows, including Features, Documentaries and Shorts programs except Opening Night and Closing Night screenings. Household FestiPasses admit two individuals for in-person screenings and at-home viewing of virtual programs for multiple people.
