Old-fashioned Flea Market returns to Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in September

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will host its 19th annual Old-fashioned Flea Market on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mathews Park in Norwalk. Admission to the park and the outdoor event is free.
Co-chaired by museum trustee Lisa Pisano Henderson and education coordinator Heather Dunn, the outdoor market will feature a wide range of vendor booths. Attendees can shop for antiques, repurposed furniture, jewelry, and specialty farm-to-table goods.
Along with the vendor booths, the event will highlight a collection of classic and antique vehicles from the Connecticut Seaport Car Club. Visitors can also choose from several local food trucks stationed at the park throughout the day.
Museum volunteers will manage a White Elephant Table with items donated by local supporters. The museum gift shop will also remain open, offering accessories, books, and gifts related to history and preservation.
Between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., the public can access five-dollar mini-tours of the mansion’s first floor. All proceeds generated during the market will support the educational and cultural programs at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum.
Vendor spaces for the event measure 10 by 16 feet and cost 85 dollars, with a discounted 75-dollar rate for submissions made before July 15. Food truck spaces cost 200 dollars, or 150 dollars if paid in advance by July 15. A limited number of complimentary booths are also available for local nonprofits.
The market will take place rain or shine.
