New UConn bobblehead marks Huskies’ return to Final Four in Indianapolis

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled an officially licensed UConn Huskies “Welcome to Indianapolis” bobblehead to commemorate the team’s trip to the 2026 NCAA Division I Final Four.

The limited-edition collectible features Jonathan the Husky standing on a racetrack-themed base, a nod to the host city’s racing heritage. The mascot holds a suitcase and a checkered flag, flanked by a bobbling race car and a basketball.

The announcement follows the second-seeded Huskies’ dramatic 73-72 comeback victory over top-seeded Duke in the Elite Eight on Sunday. Freshman Braylon Mullins secured the win with a 35-foot 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining, erasing a 19-point first-half deficit.

“We’re excited to unveil this limited-edition bobblehead celebrating the UConn Huskies and their fans’ trip to Indianapolis with the goal of bringing yet another National Championship trophy back to Connecticut,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The Huskies (33-5), led by eighth-year coach Dan Hurley, are making their eighth Final Four appearance and their first since winning back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. UConn has now won 18 consecutive games in the Sweet 16 or later rounds. Tarris Reed Jr., who scored 27 points in the regional final, was named the East Region’s Most Outstanding Player.

UConn is scheduled to face Illinois (28-8) in the national semifinals this Saturday, April 4, at Lucas Oil Stadium. The winner will advance to the National Championship Game on Monday, April 6, to play either Arizona or Michigan.

Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,026 and is available exclusively through the Museum’s online store for $40, plus a flat-rate shipping fee of $8. The collectibles are expected to ship in October.

Based in Milwaukee, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum opened in 2019 and produces customized bobbleheads for teams and organizations nationwide.
