Mt. Joy to celebrate 10-year anniversary with New Haven stop at Westville Music Bowl

Philadelphia folk-rock band Mt. Joy is returning to Connecticut as part of their North American tour celebrating the group’s 10-year anniversary, with a performance scheduled for Sept. 22, 2026, at Westville Music Bowl.

The newly announced tour follows the breakout success of their 2025 album Hope We Have Fun and features marquee dates including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, TD Garden in Boston, and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Colorado, where the band previously sold nearly 14,000 tickets. In 2025, Mt. Joy sold nearly 200,000 tickets across the U.S., selling out The Greek Theatre in Berkeley and The United Center in Chicago, and headlining festivals including Newport Folk Festival.

Known for blending anthemic folk-rock with deeply human storytelling, Mt. Joy has built a reputation as one of America’s most beloved live acts. Hope We Have Fun debuted in the Top 10 on Spotify’s U.S. Album Chart, with songs such as “Highway Queen (feat. Maren Morris)” and “She Wants to Go Dancing” appearing across AAA Radio’s Top 10.

The band has committed $1 from every ticket sold to charity, with the 2026 beneficiary to be announced. Mt. Joy has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to organizations including the ACLU and Family Reach, hosted food drives at shows, and visited children’s hospitals while on tour. Since 2022, the band has raised over $700,000 for charitable causes through ticket donations, benefit concerts, exclusive merchandise collaborations, and nonprofit partnerships.

The band’s philanthropic mission continues with a stripped-back version of their track “Lucy,” which raised more than $23,000 for the American Brain Tumor Association, part of nearly $500,000 raised on this album cycle.

With its mix of emotional storytelling, fan-favorite venues, and charitable impact, Mt. Joy’s 2026 tour promises to be more than a concert — it’s a celebration of community, empathy, and music.
