Mohegan Sun rolls out The Hold & Spin Slot Zone in Casino of the Sky
Refreshed casino zone is home to 250+ of the most popular slot machines featuring the Hold & Spin bonus; A Special Hold & Spin Hotel Package has also kicked-off & includes $50 in Free Slot Play
Located between the Star Bar and the recently updated Sachem Lounge in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Sky is the all-new Hold & Spin Slot Zone, featuring 250+ slot machines with the exhilarating Hold & Spin bonus feature. The Hold & Spin action occurs when certain credit symbols trigger a bonus round where rewards can multiply quickly. Slot machines inside the Hold & Spin Slot Zone at Mohegan Sun with this feature include: Dragon Link (Aristocrat); Dollar Storm (Aristocrat); Ultimate Fire Link (Light & Wonder); Dragon Train (Light & Wonder); All Aboard (Konami Gaming); Cleopatra (IGT) and much more. In celebration of the Hold & Spin Slot Zone in Casino of the Sky, Mohegan Sun has also launched a hotel package for travelers 21+. The Hold & Spin Slot Zone is a casino floor redesign with convenience and thrills in mind. The zone sits near other popular attractions at Mohegan Sun, including the Michael Jordan owned Mexican restaurant, Sol Toro, Vista Lounge at Wombi Rock and Sachem’s Lounge, which recently completed a major renovation. The most recent addition to the Hold & Spin Slot Zone at Mohegan Sun is Huff N’ Even More Puff, made by Light & Wonder.
Guests playing Hold & Spin Bonus games are seeking to get special symbols during regular spins. On a game like Dragon Link, a player would need to spin at least six orbs to trigger a bonus round. Players can then collect as many coin symbols as possible within this bonus round. Based on a player’s credit and denomination selections while playing, bonus money can add up fast on Hold & Spin Bonus games. Grand Jackpots can be won when players get 15 orbs in the bonus round, or when one of the orbs stops and displays: GRAND.
In late March, a jackpot of nearly $100,000 was won on a Dragon Link machine in the Hold & Spin Slot Zone. There is also a Dragon Link HD Progressive in Casino of the Sky that is awaiting a lucky guest to hit it big for $1.3 million.
