Mike Tyson Invitational comes to Foxwoods Resort Casino for East Coast debut

The Mike Tyson Invitational, brought to you by FIGHT SPORTS, will make its East Coast debut at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026. The third edition of the amateur boxing tournament will be held inside the Great Cedar Showroom in Mashantucket.

Created by former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, the event features a selection of top amateur boxers and Olympic hopefuls from across the country. The invite-only, multi-weight-class competition is designed to showcase rising talent on a major stage before athletes transition to professional careers.

Tyson personally selects each participating fighter based on skill and potential rather than utilizing standard tournament seeding. To eliminate barriers for young competitors, the event waives all entry fees for those invited to participate.

Tyson stated that bringing the event to New England offers regional fans an opportunity to see rising boxing talent before they advance to higher levels of the sport. The showcase aims to provide young fighters with greater visibility and a professional-style event structure.

Tickets for the one-night tournament are currently available for purchase through Foxwoods Resort Casino. The event marks the first time the tournament has taken place in the Northeast region.
