Lyman Orchards Blue Berry Festival is July 22
Enjoy a fun-filled day out with the family at Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market! Pick fresh blueberries from the fields and then head over to the Apple Barrel Farm Market for live music, free food tastings, horse-drawn hayrides, a petting farm, face painting, and Santa for pictures with the kids. Sample the freshness of award-winning baked goods at Apple Barrel Farm Market, like blueberry muffins, Jeff’s Kettle Corn, and more! Enjoy a delicious lunch at the deli with 5% of sales going to the Salvation Army. Don’t miss the Lyman Orchards Creamery Blueberry Shortcake Sundae and enter the pie eating contest for a sweet finale!
Schedule of Events:
8am-4pm: Pick-Your-Own raspberries and blueberries on South Street, Middlefield
9am-11am: Breakfast sandwiches at the Apple Barrel Farm Market
10am-12pm: Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services will be set up on the Apple Barrel Patio with a fun activity for kids!
10am-3:30pm: Horse-drawn hayrides
10am-4pm: Face Painting, Pictures with Santa, Special Appearance by Salvation Army Mascot, yard games, Petting Farm
10:30am-12:30pm: Salvation Army Brass Ensemble outside on the patio
11am-3pm: Food Trucks available. Jeff’s Kettle Corn, Dope Fried Food, Spuds Your Way, Crepe Hut, Sultan Kebob*
*Food Trucks subject to change.
1pm-4pm: Live music from Jackson Hill Band on the patio
1pm: Pie-Eating Contest, kids and adults.
Xfinity Truck will be onsite with giveaways!
