Herstory Theater marks Halloween with A Howl of a Night, the Second Coming at Cheney Hall

Little Theatre of Manchester at Cheney Hall announced today the return engagement of Herstory Theater’s popular evening of old-time radio theatre. After a thrilling run in October, 2023, A Howl of a Night is back for 2025 with new plays and new cast members! A Howl of a Night, the Second Coming, being performed Saturday, October 11 at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, October 12 at 2pm, is set to feature a quartet of chilling and silly radio plays by Connecticut playwright Bill Arnold.

Travel back to the 1940s as part of a live “studio audience” for four original old time live radio plays performed with a live Foley artist, whose entertaining sound effects will bring these stories to life right before your eyes…and ears! Six actors voice dozens of characters, as well as commercials that will bring you back to the Golden Age of Radio. Experience an evening of good old hair-raising thrill and chills and (mostly) belly-aching laughs in an event so good, it’s scary!
