Catskills-based singer-songwriter Hannah Cohen is scheduled to perform at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Sept. 1 as a supporting act for Alabama Shakes.
The Bridgeport appearance is part of a North American tour following the release of Cohen’s new single, “Golden Chain.” The track is a delicate ballad that serves as her first new music since the release of her 2025 album, “Earthstar Mountain.” Cohen noted that the song “spilled out of me in an afternoon.”
The performance comes on the heels of significant critical momentum for the artist. Her most recent album, released via Congrats Records, was named one of the best indie releases of the year by Rolling Stone. The project also received year-end honors from The New Yorker and Consequence.

The Sept. 1 date in Connecticut precedes the final stop of her run with Alabama Shakes, which will take place at Radio City Music Hall the following night. The summer schedule also includes festival appearances at BottleRock and Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival.
In addition to her work as a recording artist, Cohen has maintained a busy international schedule, including a summer tour through the U.K. and Europe with dates in Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
