Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce hosts 2nd annual Easter Trunk Hop

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will host its 2nd Annual Easter Trunk Hop on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seaport Marine Parking Lot, 2 Washington Street, Mystic.

The free, family-friendly event invites children to visit decorated vehicles hosted by local businesses, collecting Easter eggs and treats along the way. The Trunk Hop is designed similarly to a Halloween “trunk-or-treat,” with businesses decorating their cars and spaces to create an interactive, festive experience. The Chamber provides Easter eggs for participating businesses to fill with candy and small prizes.

“It’s a great community event and a great way to engage with our Chamber members,” said Bruce Flax. “Last year the turnout was fantastic and it was such an energetic and joyful day.”

More than 300 children attended the inaugural event in 2025, and organizers expect an even larger crowd this year. The Easter Bunny will be on site for photos with children throughout the event.
