Goo Goo Dolls announce September show at Mohegan Sun with Neon Trees

Goo Goo Dolls will bring their nationally acclaimed live show to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, as part of an extensive 45-city U.S. summer tour with special guests Neon Trees.

The 7:30 p.m. concert will serve as the final leg of the tour, which kicks off Friday, July 24. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 12, through Ticketmaster and will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, Dec. 13.

The tour arrives amid renewed momentum for the veteran rock band, fueled by the viral resurgence of their 1998 hit “Iris.” The song was recently certified Diamond and has now surpassed five billion streams worldwide, including more than one billion streams in 2025 alone. The four-time Grammy-nominated track continues to reach new audiences decades after its release and has been covered by artists including Taylor Swift, Machine Gun Kelly, Phoebe Bridgers, and Maggie Rogers.

Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986 by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac, Goo Goo Dolls have spent more than three decades shaping modern alternative rock. The band has sold more than 15 million records worldwide, earned four Grammy nominations, and collected nearly a dozen combined gold and platinum singles. They also hold the all-time radio record for most Top 10 singles, with 15 No. 1 and Top 10 hits.

Several of the band’s albums have reached multi-platinum status, including A Boy Named Goo (1995), which is double platinum, and Dizzy Up the Girl (1998), which is certified five times platinum. Later releases such as Gutterflower (2002) and Let Love In (2006) achieved gold certification, while Something for the Rest of Us (2010) and Magnetic (2013) both debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Goo Goo Dolls recently released the Summer Anthem EP via Warner Records, a seven-track project that continues the band’s legacy of vivid lyricism and melodic, radio-driven rock — a sound fans can expect to hear when the tour concludes at Mohegan Sun in September.
